Yes. Moving air speeds up the evaporation your body is already trying to do. On the muggiest days, pair the fan garment with the Ice Vest for cold at your core.
No. It uses four reusable gel packs you freeze overnight. They hold 39–50°F for about 4 hours in 104°F heat. No fans, no charging.
Yes. Unclip the fans and take the battery out, then wash the garment on a gentle cycle and hang it to dry. Wipe the fans with a damp cloth.
2026 models are true to US sizing. Measure your chest and use the size chart on the product page for the garment you are buying.
They are ANSI/ISEA 107 high-visibility classes required on many road and job sites. The Hi-Vis Fan Vest is the Class 2 option; the half-sleeve Fan Shirt is Class 3. Test documentation is available on request.
On low you’ll forget they’re on. Turbo is about the level of a desk fan — fine on a site, noticeable in a quiet office.
Both. The fan garment goes over your regular shirt. A fall-arrest harness fits over it as long as the fans sit below the straps; most crews mount the fans low on the back for that reason.
